Rubber Duck M16

This is a prop rifle for training purposed, colloquially referred to as a "Rubber Duck" or "Dummy Rifle". It is based on the early colt 601 model that does not have a shell deflector or forward assist so that it can be carried long distances or used for PT effectively by right and left handed end users without being poked by the protruding controls.
